The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Molded-Case Circuit Breakers, Molded-Case Switches and Circuit-Breaker Enclosures, UL 489, are being proposed for preliminary review and comment only:

1. For Preliminary Review Only: Proposed Exception for 6" Minimum Length of Field Wiring Conductor (Lead)

2. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision to the Requirements for Draw-out Circuit Breakers

3. For Preliminary Review Only: Revisions to the Calibration Requirements for Supplement SB

4. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision to Table - Available current in test circuits

5. For Preliminary Review Only: Revised Requirements for Accessory Terminal Leads Wire Size

6. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision to Address the Use of Second-Hand Molded-Case Circuit Breakers

7. For Preliminary Review Only: Revision of Table to Include Calibration Testing at -35 °C and 66 °C
