1 Scope

1.1 These requirements cover stationary engine generator assemblies that are intended for installation and use in ordinary locations in accordance with the following:

1. a) The National Electrical Code, NFPA 70;

2. b) The Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, CSA C22.1;

3. c) The Standard for the Installation and Use of Stationary Combustion Engines and Gas Turbines, NFPA 37;

4. d) Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1;

5. e) The Code for Digester Gas, Landfill Gas, Biogas Generation and Utilization, ANSI/CSA B149.6;

6. f) The Installation Code for Oil-Burning Equipment, CSA B139;

7. g) The Standard for Health Care Facilities, NFPA 99;

8. h) The Code for Canadian Health Care Facilities, CSA Z8000;

9. i) The Standard for Emergency, Standby Power Systems, NFPA 110; and

10. j) Emergency Electrical Power Supply for Building, CSA C282.

Summary of Topics

This revision of ANSI/CAN/UL/ULC 2200 dated September 5, 2025 reissues the August 27, 2025 revisions to correct paragraph 52.6.8 by removing the following text which was erroneously included: "This device shall permit the back flow of fuel from the vaporizer in the event of a pressure build-up in the vaporizer."
