The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Safety for Explosive Atmospheres - Part 2: Equipment Protection by Pressurized Enclosure "p", UL 60079-2, are being proposed:

1. Adoption of IEC 60079-2, Explosive Atmospheres - Part 2: Equipment Protection by Pressurized Enclosure "p", (sixth edition, issued by IEC July 2014) as a new IEC-based UL standard, UL 60079-2 with US National Differences.
