SUMMARY OF TOPICS
The following changes in requirements to the Standard for Movable and Wall- or Ceiling-Hung Electric Room Heaters, UL 1278, are being proposed:
1. Section 2, General, is proposed to be revised to add a requirement stating that the heater shall not be capable of moving autonomously or via remote control from the location in which it is manually placed by the user.
