PROPOSED POSTPONEMENT OF EFFECTIVE DATE

UL proposes to postpone the effective date for the entire standard from July 3, 2003 to November 1, 2003. UL has received information that implementation of the requirements in the First Edition of UL 2388, which was published on July 3, 2002, would be facilitated by a revised effective date of November 1, 2003.
