2 Scope

2.1 This Standard covers all cleaning products that contain microbes within the product subcategories identified in 2 and 3.

2.2 Products sold to individual consumers:

1. a) Cleaners;

2. b) Degreasers;

3. c) Drain additives;

4. d) Septic tank additives;

5. e) Carpet and upholstery cleaners;

6. f) Odor controlling additives; and

7. g) RV tank treatments.

2.3 Products sold for use in institutional and industrial settings:

1. a) General facility maintenance cleaners;

2. b) Parts cleaners and degreasers;

3. c) Marine tank treatments;

4. d) Drain and grease trap additives;

5. e) Odor controlling additives;

6. f) Septic tank additives;

7. g) Carpet and upholstery cleaners; and

8. h) Urinal blocks.
