1.1 This Standard provides specific service equipment requirements that are intended to be supplemented by requirements for other types of equipment (such as panelboards, switchboards, and the like) that may be used as service equipment. Requirements in this Standard are intended to apply to equipment designed for installation in accordance with NFPA 70®, National Electrical Code® (NEC®).
